Welcome to the new Bicester Village!
If you're wanting to get some major shopping done now and for the holidays then you should head on down to Bicester Village. The shopping village is celebrating its much-anticipated expansion, the biggest since its original launch in 1995. Desirée Bollier, Chair of Value Retail Management, welcomed designers, editors, and influencers to get their first look at the new Bicester Village.
Guest lists included Caroline Rush CBE, Italian art curator Rosanna Orlandi and retailer Trevor Pickett. To mark the special occasion was a tour of The British Collective, a new multi-brand pop-up boutique for Christmas designed by British illustrator Luke Edward Hall.
We were greeted in the new Secret Garden Café and given a welcome glass of champagne. The perfect start to get in the festive spirit. Afterwards, we were invited to check out the 31 new boutiques in the Village, ranging from Christopher Kane, Roksanda and Phillipp Plein to the Charlotte Tilbury pop-up. I definitely got some shopping in!
But the heart and center of the new Bicester Village is The British Collective. This new Christmas boutique features highlights from Ross Barr, Chinti & Parker, Sophie Hulme, Jade Jagger and Tom Dixon, plus exclusive home products by Luke Edward Hall that includes a must-have Christmas sweater in collaboration with Royal Warrant holder John Smedley.
The newly expanded Bicester Village elevated the customer experience with their unveiling of Number 50, a by-appointed-only VIP space designed by Carden Cunietti. Here guests will be able to relax in lush rooms and enjoy a drink or two.
So get ready to get all your Christmas shopping done in the wonderfully new Bicester Village.
