Savile Row tailor Chester Barrie is honored to have dressed many of the nominees and presenters at yesterday’s ceremony, including the host Jason Manford.

2019 will mark the 8th year in succession of being the menswear sponsor of The Laurence Olivier Awards.

Offering contemporary English tailoring to men who are looking for suits with style and personality, Chester Barrie dressed many of the nominees and presenters at yesterday’s ceremony.

Chester Barrie was honored to have dressed Kobna Holdbrook-Smith who won Best Actor in a Musical and Chris Walley who won Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Upholding its quintessentially British reputation and continuing to make men look their best when it matters most, the red carpet saw a variety of formalwear from Chester Barrie.

From classic and distinctive dinner jackets which form the DNA of any gentleman’s wardrobe to this seasons looks with shawl collars that are softened for elegance and an art deco-geometric suit separate that adds a contemporary mood to this traditional piece.

Creative Director, Simon Kirby commented:

We are delighted so many of the men attending this year’s awards will be wearing Chester Barrie. When you are on the Red Carpet, more than ever, it is important to look your best and whether they are wearing classic evening wear or a richly colored velvet we are confident they will look great. Of course, not everybody has a Red Carpet to walk down but there are times when you really need to make an impression – be that at a wedding, a big night out or an important meeting – Chester Barrie will always be there to help.
